I just wanted to let my feelings be known about Lawrence Jackson. I don't think it is admirable how he consistently trolls this team on twitter. He has his opinion, and as much as he denies it, he is Bitter about his break up with the Lions.
I have nothing against him as a player when he was with the Lions, but the fact that he got cut from the Vikings this year tells me that he is just not good enough to be in the NFL.
I am not even mad about him saying what he says.. Its just the way he comes off... The whole "I'm on to better things now that I'm done with football" is great if its true... But Is calling your former coach a Liar really "better things?" I listened to the Jeff Moss Podcast with LoJack. When he asked him to explain the liar comment, he stumbled over his words and gave us an unconvincing he said/he said story.
Look, I agree that Schwartz overstayed his welcome. I agree that Stafford sucked the last part of the season. What I don't agree with is that some bitter former player who was let go at all three of his NFL stops knows everything that is wrong with the team, and everything thats wrong with Stafford.
What if the Situation were reversed? What if Jim Schwartz was fired (like LoJack), and then started calling out certain players and members of the organization? Blaming them, calling them Liars, and Bad Guys... He wouldn't have any credibility, because it would just sound like sour grapes...
So in conclusion, just because a player is nice to you on twitter, it does not make the end all be all...
