Lions injury report: Reggie Bush misses practice again

Tim Fuller-USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Lions were without Reggie Bush again on Thursday.

Let's start with the good news from Thursday's Detroit Lions practice. Wide receiver Calvin Johnson and safety Louis Delmas both returned to the practice field after missing time earlier in the week. Both are dealing with a knee injury, although Johnson's is believed to be a bit more serious. Delmas was just getting his usual rest. Either way, both practiced on Thursday and should be good to go on Sunday.

It remains to be seen if running back Reggie Bush will be good to go on Sunday. Enter the bad news: Bush was out on Thursday for his second missed practice in a row. He is dealing with a calf injury, and although he was able to do "some very light individual work," Tim Twentyman reports that Bush did not "do any cutting." Like with Johnson and Delmas earlier in the week, let's hope the Lions' decision to hold Bush out of practice was precautionary more than anything.

Here's the Lions' full Thursday injury report:

RB Reggie Bush (calf) - Did not practice
WR Calvin Johnson (knee) - Limited in practice
DE Israel Idonije (knee) - Did not practice
CB Chris Houston (foot) - Limited in practice
CB Darius Slay (knee) - Limited in practice
S Louis Delmas (knee) - Limited in practice
