Say what you want about him or his salary, but I've always loved Nate Buleson. I was off today because of Presidents Day so this was one of those times I could actually watch NFL AM. I was just blown away that Nate used the time to publicly ask Reggie Bush to come to Detroit. I heavily endorse the idea of bringing Reggie Bush to Detroit; he is the back that could really start spreading out defenses.
Right now Detroit's issue is that they have one deep threat in Megatron to which teams keep 2 safeties deep, basically daring us to run up the middle. The problem is we had an excellent pass blocking OLine but probably the worst run blocking line I had seen in recent years. I like Leshoure, and I really like Bell, but they are no threat to the outside which make us more and more predictable. Reggie Bush adds that dimension to our offense; with Burleson back with Megantron next year and the duel TE attack from Schaeffler and Pettigrew; Reggie gives Stafford a great check-down option in the flats and we will be a lot more effective and harder to play defense against.
Come on up to Detroit Reggie.
