Am I the only one who thinks we should trade down ? Seriously this is not our 0-16 season. We are not empty of talent. We will assume we will have a large turnover which I expected. You do not fill a 0-16 team with only draft picks. We knew that following offseason that eventually we would have a large turnover. Players who have had their 4 or 5yr old contract end and leave. FA we took in get to old and there talent fall off. Am I the only person who saw this coming ? Bottom line we have great talent in some areas and the oceans floor in others. What we need is more depth and some positions of just solid talent. We can later add in more 1st round talent sprinkled in.

That being said, we have nobody at Safety and a horribly aging 0-Line. DE is a position of the same as well as players leaving. That is where we need to focus. Depth at WR and a speedy RB would help. I put RB last. I believe improved run blocking as well as Leshoure getting a 2nd year removed from his achillies injury would be huge as well.

Would moving back and taking Ezekiel Ansah help our efforts while picking up another draft pick ? Demarcus Millner would be a good back up pick he ended up being taken. Also can anyone tell me if our, " make up pick " can be traded ? I know they are commensurate or something of that nature, not sure what they are called.

To me moving back Ansah, our commensurate picks and anything else we can get for trading players would make a nice package deal to trade back up. If we could get a high 2nd round Safety and O-Lineman as well as a DE in the 1st I would be very happy. Add in a 3rd round CB, WR/ KR, LB or RB I would most likely be ok.

After that I would expect the other picks be high reward and or ST players.

I will be interested to see who is cut, traded or brought in FA. I think this will give us a clearer picture of what we have and what we need. Let me know what you think. Also, I am not going to pretend I know every player in this draft or even watched film or know if they " fit " in our system. So that saying I will go about this article as the players are currently rated in the draft as well as what I am reading in the mocks.
