Just like last year, safety LaRon Landry has a visit scheduled with the Detroit Lions. Will he actually take it this year?
It turns out that free-agent safety LaRon Landry has indeed scheduled a visit with the Detroit Lions. According to Yahoo! Sports' Jason Cole, the Lions are third on Landry's visit list. First up are the Indianapolis Colts, and the Arizona Cardinals are second in line. If he remains unsigned following those two visits, it will be the Lions' turn.
Next on the LaRon Landry tour after Indy are Ariz, DET, SF (yes, another 49er visit) if he doesn't sign somewhere.

If this feels familiar, it's because the same situation played out last year. The Lions expressed enough interest in Landry to schedule a visit, but they weren't the first team on his list. He ended up visiting the New York Jets before making it to Detroit, and he ended up signing with the Jets.
This year, we could see something similar play out, but the roles could actually be reversed. The Lions are set to host safety Glover Quin for a visit on Wednesday, and if he ends up signing, Detroit may not even have a need (or the money) to bring in Landry.
