Lions notes looks at Martin Mayhew's thoughts on Denard Robinson, Ezekiel Ansah and more.
- Detroit Lions general manager Martin Mayhew closed the door last week on the possibility of Titus Young ever returning, but Mayhew did say that he wants to help Young with his problems.
- Mayhew thinks of Michigan wide receiver Denard Robinson as "the ultimate hybrid Swiss-army knife type of player." Mayhew added that the team that drafts Robinson will have to have a specific plan in place for how he will be used. In other words, don't draft him without an idea of what specifically he can bring to your offense.
- Robinson may have to have surgery to fix the nerve injury in his right arm.
- Mayhew believes BYU defensive end Ezekiel Ansah is a "freak athletically."
- Speaking of Ansah, this is pretty amazing:
BYU end and athletic sensation Ziggy Ansah asked how much football he watched before college: "None."
