Lions players react to DeAndre Levy's new deal

Ezra Shaw

Detroit Lions players took to Twitter to congratulate linebacker DeAndre Levy on his new contract.

Detroit Lions linebacker DeAndre Levy was re-signed to a three-year deal on Wednesday. Levy's new deal means he is under contract with the Lions through 2015, and it means he won't become a free agent next week.

After the news of Levy's deal broke, several Lions players tweeted their congratulations to him.

Linebacker Stephen Tulloch got a new deal with the Lions last year. The other three players are all set to become free agents this year, meaning their time with the Lions could be coming to a close.
