I know plenty of people were pretty bummed when DHB decided to sign with the colts. One of the guys I think we could get instead is Denario Alexander. He was tendered at the original round by San Diego, but he wasn't drafted. This means theres no risk or loss of picks by pursuing him. I would be fine with giving him a contract that was similar to DHB (1 year for 3 million). To protect ourselves, I would like the contract to be incentive based because he has had plenty of injuries in the past. People think he burst onto the scene last year, but anyone who is familiar with the University of Missouri would know that Alexander was a MUCH higher touted recruit than Jeremy Maclin. If it wasn't for continuous injuries in college, I do believe he could have been a first round pick.
What do you guys think?
