The Lions young cornerbacks

I know a lot of you out there wanted the Lions to take Dee Milliner in the first round of the 2013 NFL draft. But one reason why Martin Mayhew may have resisted is because of the number of promising young corners already on the team. One guy I want to see in particular is Chris Greenwood. I know he missed all of last season with an injury and hails from tiny Albion College but his measurables and athletic ability is right up there with Milliner's and any other corner taken in the past two drafts. I definitely want to see him on the field this year, maybe even starting opposite of Chris Houston. Bill Bentley showed promise before he got hurt last year and Jonte Green, the only guy who played all of last season showed great progress as the season went along and will challenge for PT too. Don't forget they drafted Darius Slay in the second round this year. So why they may lack the big, sexy names, the Lions have a lot of interesting prospects in the secondary and could be one of the strengths of this year's team.
