So I previously asked folk to send me a list of who they believe would be the top players of the upcoming season and well the results shaked out pretty much as we would expect but some of the players missed out completely come as more of a surprise more on that later. Now for the scoring I took the total score and divided it by the total number of submitted lists. If someone was top on all the lists they would have 50 points second on every list 49 and so on. So in reverse order here is the top 30ish
Tied 30th Julio Jones and Larry Fitzgerald (12.4 points ) Kind of surprising these two are together given how different the two seasons they just had Julio Jones was in two more lists but Larry was higher in most so is that down to Carson Palmer and Bruce Arians or down to his rep?
29th Lean Sean McCoy (14 points) I will fully admit I thought he would be higher Chip Kelly loves quick players in space but I guess I was in the minority here
28th Cameron Wake (14.2) A player who I think is always under rated but I will put my chips down here with the dolphins new shiny offensive toys the dolphins will be playing with a lead and Wake I think could be the first winner of the deacon Jones award next year. Also only Dolphin to make the top 30 and one of only two with any votes at all
27th Alfred Morris (14.4) I don’t think I need to add anything more on this one. Only redskin to make the top 30 (RG3 was in 56th if anyone is bothered)
26th Joe Thomas (14.8) The only Wide boy in the top 30 and only one of 6 in total at all. Also the only brown in the top 30.
25th Cam Newton (15) Only Panther in the top 30 and one of only 3 in total.
24th Patrick Peterson (16) Highest place Card and second highest CB though I think this is down to his return skills that put him in front of some of the others
23th Colin Kaepernick (16.8) Only San Fran guy in the top 30 but they have the most people in the NFC who had votes
22nd Marshan Lynch (17) Only Seahawk in the top 30 but like the 49’ers they have the a lot of votes
21st Doug Martin (17.2) The only thing that surpsises me about his placement is how much higher he is than Alfred Morris beyond that I feel this is fair
20th Darrelle Revis (18.4) Highest CB and the highest Buc. It looks like people are thinking he will be back to his old self after the injury last year
19th Von Miller (18.6) The highest Linebacker and I think like Cameron Wake he is in for a monster year even though he has lost Elvis
18th Matt Ryan (19.8) The highest rated Falcon or this list.
17th Geno Atkins (20.6) I think this could be some lions based pride that he is behind a certain player on our team, Still nice to see him getting the attention he deserves
16th Brandon Marshall (20.7) The only Bear in the top 30 and one of 6 to get voted
15th Jimmy Graham (21.2) Only TE in the top 30
14th Ndomakong Suh (22) The first of 3 lions to be announced ( I wonder who the other two are)
13th Adrain Foster (24.6) Amazed to be honest that there are still 3 other backs after foster but it could be a case of changes in OC on some others have knocked him down
12th Matt Stafford (25) I truly hope he plays up to this billing this year he has the weapons and the talent to do so. Boom or bust year for Stafford anyone?
11th Jamal Charles (30.1) The only chief on the list and one off only 4 with any votes
10th CJ Spiller ( 31.2) Only Bill in the top 30 and I actually think he could blow up this year, here is hoping he is my fantasy banker this year.
9th AJ Green (31.4) The top Bengal and I think he may actually put up better stats than megatron this year coming just a hunch though.
8th Andrew Luck (32.4) The lowest player who was a list topper (mine if you are curious) Also the only colt in the top 30.
7th JJ Watt ( 34.6) The highest Texan the only defensive player to top a list and the highest defensive player and you really can’t argue with that.
6th Drew Brees (39) The first player who was on every list which is an odd one. Given some of the talent behind him
5th Aaron Rodgers (43) Yuck I really dislike him but this seems high on this biased person.
4th Peyton Manning (44.6) I don’t know why he is this low I think he could retake his touchdown record from Mr Brady this year.
3th Megatron (45.1) Ive got to say for someone who I think will see the ball less this year its high but I cant moan as a Lions fan
2nd Adrain Peterson (45.3) So POD has no faith in Ponder then? But it seems to with what the league thinks

I kid it is Brady (45.6) this was before the Hernedez thing broke but still if he works well with nothing then well he deserves this.
