The relentless noise from the rowdy crowd forced the Bears into nine false start penalties, five of which came on the team's first two drives. Coach Jim Schwartz was asked if he ever heard a building so loud.
"I can't remember, but nine false starts -- I don't know if I've ever been a part of that," Schwartz said. "Our hats are off to the fans here, to the city of Detroit. It's a great night for the city. We need to get used to playing in games like that and having atmospheres like that. Fans did their part tonight, and we took the cue from them."
The crowd noise was HUGE when we were winning.. and with the amazing first step of our defensive line, this could happen a lot more.
I remember getting SO pumped up when there would be a false start and the crowd would totally drown out the cadence of Cutler and others.
Lets get back to that!!!
