Trouble in Green Bay?

I thought the team chemistry of the Lions was off last year ( no duh! ) and we often heard Schwartz talking about a play here or a play there, and players trying to do too much. By trying to do too much, they'd get themselves out of position, etc.. and actually fail to make the play even the easy ones. There's a lot of theories and reasoning behind this, but I've felt the players could have been pressing due to their contract status. There were so many players pending free agency maybe their heads were spinning a bit with what would happen to their future. The stress being in the back of their minds led to the mistakes, to players "trying to do too much"

Running through stories these days, it has been pointed out that the Green Bay Packers have a bunch of pending free agents. Perhaps this will test my theory, and we'll see the Packers pressing, as guys try to make themselves their next contract. As they watch their QB get his security will there be some work place jealousy that pops it's head up at an opportune time for the Lions to pounce? The off-field distractions really seemed to take a toll on the Lions last year and maybe that'll help knock the Packers down a notch or two.

It might be a reach, but I'm looking for any advantage the Lions might have to leapfrog the Pack and take the division.
