I was Watching TNF, and after Aquib Talib intercepted another bad GENO! pass, he was trying to waste time on the field. So he danced around for about 4 seconds before giving his self up going out of bounds.
Nick Mangold, the fat center that he is, took offense to this, and lunged at the back of Talib's knees after he stepped out of bounds... Mike Mayock, whom I normally respect, was disappointed in the play. Not because Mangold attempted to injure another player, but because Talib was dancing, provoking the action from the fat jets dirtball center.
Like I have said before, hits to the knees are commonplace in the NFL... Especially by the offensive lineman. But given the recent outrage over Suh's "Career Ender" against the Vikings, I was expecting some level of recognition on that play. Profootballtalk.com still hasn't even posted an article about it. The inconsistencies in the NFL discipline department are maddening. Suh had 1 stomp, and therefore all his other clean hard tackles are downgraded to Dirty... So that gives every NFL Player with long flowing blonde locks of hair the right to do whatever they want and we all laugh at it... BS.
