Lions notes: More on Sunday's loss to Cardinals

Matt Kartozian-USA TODAY Sports

Lions notes looks at various tidbits from Sunday's loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

  • Calvin Johnson set a pair of franchise records on Sunday.
  • Johnson is closing in on Herman Moore's franchise record of 34 games with at least 100 yards receiving, per Tim Twentyman. Johnson now has 33 of them after Sunday's performance against the Arizona Cardinals.

  • One more stat from Sunday involving Johnson:
  • After Sunday's game, Johnson exchanged jerseys with Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson, as noted by Chris McCosky.

  • Patrick Edwards left Sunday's game with an ankle injury. He was seen being taken to and from the sideline on a cart.

  • Rob Sims briefly was down before limping off after Matthew Stafford got sacked early in Sunday's game. Considering the Lions never even confirmed that Sims was hurt during the game, it's probably safe to say that whatever happened wasn't serious.

  • Louis Delmas took the blame for Bill Bentley's pass interference penalty that occurred right before Arizona's game-winning touchdown.

  • Kyle Vanden Bosch, who played for both the Lions and Cardinals, attended Sunday's game wearing a "Made In Detroit" shirt.

  • According to Adam Schefter, the make-up date for Ndamukong Suh's appeal of his $100,000 fine has not yet been determined. It was originally scheduled for last Friday before being postponed.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that the next "egregious flagrant foul" by Suh will likely result in a suspension instead of a fine.

  • Tony Scheffler did a pretty funny Q&A with the Free Press.
