I just gotta know because holy crap after that Texas A&M bowl game, it seems like everyone got to see great qualities of Manziel which could definitely translate well to the NFL. Dual-threat QB, big arm, good accuracy, throws dimes with regularity, great escapability in the pocket, great throws on the run, and has the wheels to make many defenders look silly.
Now let me just state this for the record: I'm still a Matt Stafford fan and I want him to be the Lions franchise QB now & until he retires. I definitely believe he still has that 2011 potential and ability. I must also note that his mechanics are horrible and has become wildly inaccurate the past two years. Hearing him say he wouldn't be willing to receive extra QB coaching on his own (when even Peyton Manning and many of the game's greats, and even not so greats, of the present and past have taken this route to improve their skills) for whatever illogical reasons he's holding on to was a disappointment as a fan. I'm sure that may have disappointed the organizations executives as well. Hopefully, he'll do everything required to become the great QB we all hope he can be.
