Have any of yall heard the LeSean McCoy-Barry Sanders comparisons?
I've heard it, both from scum Eagle fans, and from TV analysts
What are they smoking?
McCoy plays on a team loaded with talent. Barry never did.
And aside from that, McCoy has played five seasons (that's already half of Barry's career btw) and his output has been nowhere close to Barry's through his first five seasons!!
In Barry's first five seasons, he only had ONE season where he rushed for under 1300 yards, and that was an injury shortened season (he played 11 games and 1115 yards, a 1600+ yard pace).
Barry could have retired after five seasons and made the HOF. If McCoy retired after this season, 10 years from now nobody will remember who the hell he was.
I mean no disrespect to Shady McCoy; he's a fine player, but he's not Barry, and people need to stop perpetuating this nonsense idea that he is a modern-day version of Barry. He's not. He never will be. I mean I don't even know why this view exists. Does it annoy anyone else?
