Hey guys, legitimate question here. Shaun Hill is a free agent and may want to have a chance to start again before he retires. What if the Lions don't re-sign him? The Lions will need a backup. Would you guys welcome Michael Vick to town? His days in Philly are apparently over and he wants to keep on playing. As we know, Mike needs a gig and his ego tells him he's still a starter. But the reality is if he wants to sign with an NFL team it will be as a backup. Would Vick be a suitable replacement should we lose Hill or do you guys have enough faith in Kellen Moore to be Stafford's backup?
Also, there's been a lot of talk on this blog about the Lions drafting either a WR or CB in the upcoming draft. Do you guys have enough faith in young players like Ryan Broyles, Patrick Edwards and Jeremy Ross, who made several big plays late in the season for the Lions to assume the opposite starting receiver job? Don't forget about my boy Kris Durham and all that great size. At corner, do you feel confident in the guys the Lions drafted the past two years, like Bill Bentley, Jonte Green, Chris Greenwood and Darius Slay that the Lions don't need to add a corner in the first round? If these young guys come through, maybe the Lions will take a stud linebacker to go with DeAndre Levy and Stephen Tulloch.
