Did you guys hear the Northwestern Wildcats football team is trying to unionize?

Hey guys, taking a break from the Lions for a moment, what do you all think of the Wildcats attempting to form a union for college athletics? I know a lot of you are college football fans so this post is relevant. Will a union for college athletes bring an end to college sports as we know it? Will the Universities get rid of their athletic programs because it'll get too costly and they'll just focus on academics? Does it mean there will be no more Spartan or Wolverine games to watch? No more March Madness? No more Rose Bowl? No more National Title game? Is this Sports Armageddon? Or can it work? Should college athletes, especially those in the big revenue sports (basketball and football) at the major conferences (Big Ten, SEC, Big 12,etc.) be paid more than what a scholarship covers? What do you guys think?
