Davante Adams

I'm of the opinion that we should draft Sammy Watkins in Round 1, but feel we could gain a lot by drafting Davante Adams in the 2nd or 3rd rounds (im hoping he falls to the 3rd). Now drafting WR in 1 and 2/3 seems kind of ridiculous...however, Davante has a lot of potential and is NFL ready. IMO our WR situation is absymal, as a fan, it hurts my heart to see CJ get banged up as badly as he does for...nothing. If you consider we've used our 2nd pick on people like Leshoure, Delmas, Broyles I don't feel it would be a bad idea to use a 2nd round pick on Davante. He is an athletic and dynamic receiver, good speed and size, and is a HEALTHY guy. Lock down Sammy Watkins (or maybe more realistically Mike Evans) and Davante in the 2nd or steal him in the 3rd, and our offense would just go and would be incredibly hard to stop. What do you guys think? I understand there are pressing concerns at CB, safety, and even LB to a degree, but there are a TON of great CB on the FA market, and the safety market is looking good this offseason as well. Also, consider this: sure we have a lot of receivers, broyles burleson ross durham ogletree and so on; however, no one has shown they can be a reliable #2 receiver...in this pass heavy offense....which tells me that most of the people on that list can be let go. And thus, our need at WR is greater than any other position.
