I just read a post saying our DC doesn't think we'll target a rushing LB this offseason. Can we take this as a sign that we won't be drafting an OLB in the top 2 rounds at least? As much as I'd like an OLB (Mack, Van Noy), I think in a lot of ways our LB corps is not that bad. With this comment on LBs and his previous comment stating he thinks you can't have enough corners, it makes me think we'll go WR in 1 and CB in 2. I think it'd be smart to grab an OLB still in the 3rd or 4th this year, especially in the 4th since we are projected to have two of those this year, but wouldn't be opposed to drafting none at all. We could easily stand pat as we're not going to lose any of our starters, instead grabbing positions like DE (Young, Jones possible cuts) or TE and S (depth and possible replacement for Delmas). C is an obvious need that we will likely address, but if we elect to stay away from an OLB, we could consider drafting DT or OT depth as well. If Waddle, Reiff, Suh, Fairley, or even Mosley go down, we will be having headaches. What do you guys think?
Personally I wouldn't mind (if no OLBs), WR, CB, WR, C, DE, S/TE, K, QB
WR, CB, S, C, DE, TE, K, QB
