On another blog, I read a piece on the Lions signing Tebow as a back-up quarterback for the league minimum. Would that save money? Isn't he more expensive than Moore because of his time in the NFL?
The second point was: with such a dynamic coaching staff for Stafford, wouldn't that benefit Tebow as well and increase his value?
I think it's a pretty novel idea. I don't necessarily think he would be a cost saver or able to take over for Matt. Detroit is a passing offense and that is Tebow's deficiency.
