MY DREAM OFFSEASON

In the shadows of the releasing of Burleson and Delmas i have put together my off season strategy for the Lions, these moves freed up 11.5 million in salary in which we were already about 5 million over which leaves us with roughly 6.5 to work with. To create more room I would....

cut ( Jason Jones, DE $2.85 mil) (2nd year with knee injuries)

extend Suh (should free-up between 5-8 mil)

SIGN FREE AGENTS:

James Ihedigbo S, RAVENS (familiar with new dc)

Vaughn Martin DT, (Keeps getting linked to lions)

wild card move

Hakeem Nicks (only If we dont decide to draft two wideouts instead, then i would go Anthony Barr 1st rd and leave rest of draft the same)

splash move

Michael Bennett DE, BENGALS

dream power move

Jairus Byrd S , BILLS

RESIGN

Bell

Ross

Durham

Ogletree

Hill

Stanford

Greenwood

with these moves it should give us between 12-15 million to work with depending on which way they choose to go and possibly cost another 2-3 mill. to sign our draft class which would be as follows.......

R1 WR MIKE EVANS TEXAS A&M R2 WR DAVANTE ADAMS FRESNO STATE R3 DE JACKSON JEFFCOAT TEXAS R4 CB KEITH MCGILL UTAH

  • projected compensatory pick
R4 TE CROCKETT GILMORE COLORADO STATE
R6 S TRE BOSTON NORTH CAROLINA R7 C JAMES STONE TENNESSEE

bring in these guys as undrafted free agents
jeremy gallon wr , michigan kenny guitton qb, ohio state taylor martinez qb , nebraska Ricky Tjong-A-Tjoe DT , boise state ( i just like his name lol) nick addison cb, bethune cookman jake olson ot, central michigan

what do you guys think? what would you do different?
