Mid round possibilities for the Lions

The Lions now have a third and 3 fourth round picks in this draft. This could make the middle of the draft as the most important part of the draft this year for us. I thought I'd list a few guys that might go in the 3rd to 6th rounds that
just maybe the Lions will be looking at. I know that there are better guys at every spot, and I cannot list everyone, but this is a starting point to look at.

Quarterbacks

Aaron Murray. Geo. short but been a winner in the SEC, broke a lot of Staffords records there

Logan Thomas Vir Tech. Real big guy, great arm, not ready to be anything but a 3rd teamed at first

Tom Savage Pitt maybe the best sleeper guy in this draft, actually has talent but was on a very poor team this yeWide Receivers. I could list 20-25 guys here, I'm going to keep it a little shorter

Jarvis Landry LSU. Best hands in the draft, ran real slow at the combine or would've been a second rounder, might still be.

Davante Adams Fresno St. Most talented guy on this list

Paul Richardson Col. Thin, but real fast, great deep threat, needs strength

Brandon Coleman Rutgers. Real tall 6-6, big guy but not as fast

Jared Abbrederis Wisconsin just a great receiver who gets open. Would be a great addition

Josh Huff Oregon smaller but very quick

Bruce Ellington S Car. Very quick and explosive slot type, a favorite of mine

4 more to watch Mike Davis Tex, dri Archer, Robert Herron Wyo, and Jeremy Gallon Mich

Tight Ends. We just may pick a receiving type TE, I don't think they will pick a blocker

Xavier Gimble USC. Talent both not ready, I'm not a big fan

C J Federowicz Iowa better eceiver than he looks, good player

Joe Don Duncan Dixie St. Can play FB, long snapper, and TE. Good sleeper pick

AC Leonard. Tenn St. Very fast, very possible, got kicked out of one school and transferred, green but talented. The kind of guy I would try.

Offensive Line I don't think we will pick many OL this year, except maybe a Center, so I focused mostly there

Joe Bitonio OT Nev can play anywhere on the line, might be the best Center prospect in the draft. Good guard too

Dakota Dozier Furman. Road grading guard. I could see this

Jon Halapio Fla good tough Guard who played hurt this year and hurt his draft stock. Sleeper

James Hurst OT NC broke his leg at the end of last season, or would've been a second rounder. Just a tackle though

Marcus Martin USC Center-Guard. To me, the only center this year that I like. Still learning the position

Defensive End. We need a DE, and we will pick one somewhere

Dominique Easley Fla. tore his ACL last year or would be a higher pick. Risky

Kareem Martin NC good player that might go in the second round too

Will Clarke W Vir tall end like Devin Taylor

Aaron Lynch S Fla transferred from ND, was a great fresh there, underachieved this year. Could develope

Jackson Jeffcoat Tex. speed rusher, one trick pony, but I like him a lot. Like Avril

Defensive Tackle. We might pick one with the new Fairley news

Caraun Reid Princeton very talented ivy leaguer.

Daquan Jones Penn St big run stuffer, there are a lot of big tackles in this draft, very deep

OLB meant are pining for Barr, who I dislike, or Mack, I am telling you Shazier is the best in our def, but these guys will go later

Christian Jones Fla St 5 star recruit, great player fits all 3 LB spots

Telvin Smith Fla St super fast smaller LB, I love this guy too. He would be a real favorite in Detroit

Jordan Tripp Montana great pass defender for an LB

Ron Powell Fla highly recruited number 1 high school player coming out, been injured most his career. Risky, huge upside

CB. There are a bunch of corners in this draft that could go later, I picked 3

Bashaud Breeland Clem real good player, may go in round 2

Pierre Desir Lindenwood tall CB think Greenwood

Phillip Gaines Rice. Very fast corner, would be a real nice slot corner

Safety we still need a good young safety

Ahmad Dixon Baylor big hitter

Terrence Brooks FlA St real fast free safety, my personal favorite off this list

Ed Reynolds Stan had a better jr year than sr, still a big force

Dezmen Southward Wisconsin fast FS sleeper pick

Tre Boston NC all around safety

Ty Zimmerman Kan St might be too slow, but is a good tackler

This is just a few guys we might look at, hope it helps some of you
