My Mock Draft with Comp Picks

Round 1 Pick 10: Sammy Watkins- Wr Clemson (Bit of a hope/dream, but stranger things happen... Dan Marino falling is one example)

Round 2 Pick 13 (45): Deone Bucannon- S Washington St. (Tough safety, plays with an edge, Needs to work on man to man coverage, but has ability to play SS or FS)

Round 3 Pick 12 (76): Gabe Jackson- G Mississippi St. (Warford part 2, underrated run/pass blocking talent and could be a dominate RG to replace Rob Sims)

Round 4 Pick 11 (111): Adrian Hubbard - OLB/DE Alabama (Fills that Tweener OLB/DE role the Lions are looking for in 3-4 Sub packages, high effort player, but needs more game experience)

Round 4 Comp 1 33 (133): Phillip Gaines- CB Rice (Tough competitor, high motor, good size and speed)

Round 4 Comp 2 36 (136): Cody Latimer- WR Indiana (Top producer on an average Indiana team. Good size and underrated speed, could be a good 4th WR)

Round 6 Pick 13 (189): Deandre Coleman - DT California (Good size, and could be a NT if we eventually switch to 3-4)

Round 7 Pick 12 (127): Max Bullough - MLB Michigan State ( Good MLB, issues in college will cause him to fall, but could thrive in the current 4-3 scheme where he is covered up by Suh and company. Max isn't good at shedding blocks, so could be a good MLB in the 4-3 scheme)

Priority FA's:

Tyler Larson- C Utah State (Lions need a center of the future, but I don't think we need it in beginning of the Draft, Larson will do fine on the bench for a year or two.)

Josh Mauro- DT/DE Stanford (Could play a 3-4 DE or 4-3 DT, needs to gain some size, but could be a gem in UDFA)

Shaquille Richardson-CB Arizona (good Size/ Speed... could be good on P.S for a year.

Xavier Grimble-TE USC (Undervalued and has had a few problems, but has ability to be a Top TE, good to take a flyer out on this guy)

Brett Smith-QB Wyoming (Lions will try both him and Tom Savage out at the #2, #3 spots, both have plenty of upside)

Zack Hocker -K Arkansas (Lions need a kicker, but we shouldn't draft anyone we don't see as a starter, but Hocker has a good leg, but needs to develop)
