Deep in the middle of the offseason with hopes of what is to come for our beloved Detroit Lions has me thinking.... how talented is this edition of the Lions right now? How does it measure up to previous years of the Lions?
I think most can agree the team is way more talented than most (idare I say all?) of the teams crafted under M****.
How do you rank this team?
is it more talented the the Lions playoff team of 2011?
Is it better than the Lions last playoff winner in 1991? How about the under achieving team of 1992?
Where does it rank versus the 1957 team?
Finally, could this team handle the mighty Lions from 1981, when Billy Sims was first unleashed on the league?
for me, I still can;'t call it. the team was talented enough to get the last coach fired. I do really like some of the pieces and have hopes that the other gel. The team has 2 or 3 of the best players in the league (if not the two best players - non QBs, and yes I'm counting Warford already) ) and a QB that could be there one day.
What do you think?
