Armchair Quarterback Time

Now that the draft is over, it's time to Armchair Quarterback. While I can't say I disliked the total outcome of the Lion's Draft, several players... All-Americans... were on The Big Board when our crew in Honolulu blue grabbed hopefuls described as "raw" and chosen as eventual replacements (a.k.a. not starters).

There's no way to know exactly how selecting a different player would affect the outcome of the rest of the draft, or how the draft would have fallen if we kept our original draft spots, but I'm going to give it a try.

I'm basing my selections on who was available at the time of our picks, adjusting for the swaps. The only other restriction I placed on myself was to not grab any of the Millenettes' choices, which was simple excluding KVN.

Here are a couple scenarios:

1- Ha Ha Clinton-Dix
2- Trent Murphy
3- Keith McGill
4- Ed Reynolds
4- Aaron Murray
5- Jared Abbrederis
6- Daniel McCullers
7- Ahmad Dixon
1- Aaron Donald
2- take your pick... Jordan Matthews / Trent Murphy / Allen Robinson
3- Donte Moncrief
4- Ed Reynolds
4- Cyril Richardson
5- Zach Mettenberger
6- Andre Hal
7- Ahmad Dixon or Jackson Jeffcoat

The UDFA group is pretty impressive: Jackson Jeffcoat, Kelcy Quarles, Shane Skov, Anthony Johnson, Brandon Coleman, James Hurst, Gabe Ikard, Tyler Larson, Adrian Hubbard, Rashaad Reynolds, Chris Davis
