This may be premature or what have you, but we just lost Chris Houston. If we had any proven talent at CB, Houston was it. Yes, he may be injured too often or whatever you want to say... fact is: he is not a Lion.
Now we have a good depth at CB IMO, a lot of names. The problem is all these names are unproven. Darius Slay, Jonte Green, Chris Greenwood, Nevin Lawson, Bill Bentley, Rashean Mathis, or perhaps even Cassius Vaughn.
Listen folks, no one outside of Detroit has heard of any of these names.
I remain optimistic about the future of our young corners, but as of now, we do not have a solid veteran. I mean veteran in the sense of a consistent starter. This means our best bet at our #1 Corner was questionable as a #2 starter this year.
I loved our team before this move, but now, we have a huge hole at corner. What the f*ck are we going to do? Our secondary was ass before this, now it is in dire straits...
I hope our blitzing makes up for this, but I'm unsure...
Can someone persuade me to watch the Lions this year? It seems we are doomed to a fate worse than the vikings... :'(
