Everyone calm down, jesus

So with everything going on these last couple days with suhmania, I figured I would enlighten everyone so you all can have a good nights sleep tonight and not freak out all day. Do I think Suh is gone? No, I just think it's a contract ploy like getting a high paying job but Im starting to get skeptical. You force someones hand and one party caves, its just the way of doing business nowadays. Look at it this way, if we franchised him for 26 million or whatever it is, that number statistically handicaps everything you want to get done to improve your team, like it or not. The only way Suh stays is a long term, incentive laden deal that makes him the highest paid player, with the most guaranteed money(which is absurd for a DT by the way) and backloaded to ensure the Mayhew can be active in free agency. HOWEVER, if there is no deal by saturday night, HE GONE. HE GONE. So what could both sides be? Ill tell ya boyz and girls

Plan A

1. Suh signs (6 years at 115 million, with 60 guaranteed) 19.1 million a year and I feel dirty saying that, just as dirty as watching the Kate Upton Game of War commercial over and over again.

2. You're bringing back Cj Mosley, releasing Tulloch(3.1 is shed from your committed cap) and hoping Arik Armstead drops to you. That fills out the DLine rotation

3. Screw drafting a fat O lineman, give Frat Stafford a running game...Rd 2. Tevin Coleman, run baby run 4. Somewhere in FA/draft, Mayhew needs to find a #3 receiver(don't even start with the Ryan Broyles BS) and a serviceable guard to replace the graying rob sims. Resign Mathis and hope either bentley or lawson can come in and do something. Anything. Polish Slays kicks, I don't care do something productive but stay on the field.

Plan B

If we lose Suh, we need to upgrade a part of the defense that has the potential of being elite or a copycat of an elite defense...Seattle. They have a scary back 7 and a decent line

1. Trim the roster of fat...Tulloch gone.(thats close to about 22 million in cap money that can be used, and I plan on using it). Backload deals and mitigate first year salaries, with more guaranteed money. Resign Mathis and Fairley on short term deals.

2. Terrance "Gimme some Pot Roast" Knighton! (4 at 50)That tub of lard will give us the flexibility to be a 34 D or a 43 D, depending on what goes on in the draft or with fairley. Fairly scares the hell out of me, inconsistent and injury prone.

3. Sign Byron Maxwell(4 at 28) He's tall and athletic, and learned from one of the best in the game. Plus that gives us a solid 1/2 CB tandem with Slay.

4. Rd 1-Malcom Brown

Rd 2-Stephone Anthony

Rd 3-Jeremy Langford

Rd 4-Stefon Diggs

You've just turned the back 7 into a potentially dominant group along with providing a run stuffer and a guy who can do a little bit of both in Brown.
