The NCAA Basketball Tournament kicked into high gear over the weekend with a couple of buzzer-beater endings and huge upsets. We are now down to the Final Four teams in the NCAA, and if you’re like me, your bracket is [CONTENT REDACTED BECAUSE NO ONE CARES ABOUT MY BRACKET, AND I, LIKEWISE, DON’T CARE ABOUT YOURS].
Anyways, in honor of Oregon, North Carolina, South Carolina and Gonzaga—the NCAA’s Final Four teams—let’s discuss our top four teams in the NFL right now. Today’s Question of the Day is:
Who are your top 4 NFL teams in the NFL right now?
My answer: In no particular order, my “Final Four” are the New England Patriots, Atlanta Falcons, Dallas Cowboys and Oakland Raiders.
For the Patriots and Falcons, I had to put the Super Bowl participants not only because they were the best teams in 2016, but because they haven’t gotten noticeably worse after free agency. In fact, you could argue the Patriots are even better, which is obviously horrifying.
As for the Raiders, who knows what would have happened last year had Derek Carr not been injured? They’ve had a very active free agency, but I’m not convinced they’re much better or much worse. Finally, the Cowboys may have lost a couple of key players on their offensive line, but they’re still an incredibly young team. As much as I continue to hate to admit it, this team is built for the long haul.
Your turn.
