Game #14 - Detroit Lions (2-11-0) at Green Bay Packers (5-8-0) - Open Thread

Green Bay has had a less than successful season as well, but at least they're not at the complete bottom of the league. The Packers are going to be playing hard at home for the second to last time today, meaning that this may be one of the last chances to get a look at Brett Favre. You can imagine they will be fighting to get him a win.
On paper, Detroit really doesn't look to have any relative chance here. However, it always seems that in these situations they find a way to come out on top. Since the Lions are 2-11, I really don't care if they win or not. A win is a win, but at the same time, a loss helps to get the #1 draft pick, which we have never seen before in this Matt Millen era of mediocrity. Either way, hopefully it isn't a total embarrassment.

ughh
The packers radio broadcast team over here kept bringing up how clueless the Lions looked, with one crack about how Detroit led the league in wasted timeouts, another about how timeouts taken due to confusion was a hallmark of a Mike Martz coached squad, and at least one more crack in that vein, and that was just in the second half (i watched the first half on tv), and you know something, I couldn't even get mad at them, because they're right.
