That was pretty nice actually...
...judging from the write-up and the box score. The people who will and who might stick around run out to a 23-0 lead (granted, the backup kicker might not be there come the real games, but can we assume that Hanson would have made those kicks, too?), and then the guys who'll be hoping to latch on to a practice squad somewhere come in and make Brady Quinn look like the second coming, which might have the effect of putting him squarely in the race for Cleveland's starting job, and a likely recipe for disaster.

(I'd feel bad for Braylon Edwards, and Joe Thomas, too, but, suffice to say, I ain't a Brady Quinn fan, stupid Nutty Lame pretty boy can't win against any real opponent punk).

One bit of concern, and I'm quoting from an AP story here, the fact that, "Kitna never looked in rookie wide receiver Calvin Johnson's direction, and the No. 2 overall pick did not have a reception. Detroit was without starting wideouts Roy Williams (hamstring) and Mike Furrey (knee)..."

According to the boxscore, Kitna put the ball up 16 times, and the above says he didn't have Roy Williams or Mike Furrey to throw to, and still he didn't attempt a single pass in Calvin Johhson's direction? What gives? Is there something going on there, bad blood between Kitna and Johnson, or am I reading waaaaay to much into a preseason happenstance? As I recall, Kitna didn't throw to CJ in the first game either.
