Six Cut to Get Roster Down to 75 Players

The deadline to trim rosters down to 75 players a team was today, and the Lions sent 6 players packing to conform to the limit.  

These players were released to get the roster down to the max size of 75 players:

• FB Thump Belton
• 
  
• WR Edell Shepherd
• 
  
• OT Rex Tucker
• 
  
• DT Marcus Lewis
• 
  
• LB Cole Haley
• 
  
• LB James Hargrave

The only name on here that really sticks out is Rex Tucker, but it isn't a huge surprise.  And big ups to elric for correctly calling Eddie Drummond and Tucker getting cut.

This is only round one of cuts this week.  On Saturday, the roster will shrink to 53 players, so expect to see a few more surprises.
