Close Your Eyes on Sunday

In order to help celebrate the Eagles' 75th anniversary that has various festivities taking place this weekend, Philadelphia is going to wear special uniforms.  The uniforms are throwbacks from 1933, and all I can say is, they are beyond ugly.  It's one thing for the Eagles to depart from their usual green and white color scheme, but the unusual look for Philly is definitely out of the ordinary.

My only piece of advice for this Sunday's game is to try and keep your eyes from staring directly into the Eagles' jerseys, it could cause damage.

In all seriousness, the Eagles 75th anniversary celebration does sound pretty cool, no matter how ugly the uniforms look. There have been festivities already and they continue into the weekend to commemorate the anniversary. For more, check out Bleeding Green Nation.
