Lions' 2008 Schedule Released (UPDATED)

I'll have a full analysis of the schedule up tomorrow, but in the meantime, you can take a look at it below. Looking back on my predictions that I made earlier today, I was correct with three of them. The Lions will play the Bears twice in four weeks, will play Tennessee on Thanksgiving, and will play at Green Bay in December. The only one I got wrong was saying that Detroit would open the season at San Francisco, but hey, I was only two weeks off. Not bad if you ask me.

2007 redux?
You look at that schedule, and there's a real possiblity that the Lions get out to the same kind of start that they did in 2007....and then fall to the same kind of unhappy ending last year brought, too.

Myabe Minnesota's going to be better this year, but they're beatable still. Chicago, who knows, we beat 'em twice last year, maybe we can beat them twice more in the first 8 games of next year.

Once again, I look at that schedule and wonder why the holy hell the September game between the Packers and the Lions takes place inside a dome, and the last game of the year goes to Lambeau. What's it going to take, a player to die from pneumonia before the league comes to it's senses?

And I don't whine only because I'd actually stand a shot at making it to Lambeau for a September Lions game, while I'm usually home for holidays right before the New Year. Really, I do care about the players' health...why don't you believe me???

Yeah
I think I believe that. But I have to say I hope Myabe Minnesota's going to be better this year.
