Roster Moves Update

In the last week or so there has been quite a few moves made that changed some players' status with the Lions.  With suspensions and injuries, some new players now are on the active roster, and also the PUP list is starting to come into effect.

First, after Shawn Bryson was placed on the injured reserve, Arlen Harris was signed.  Also, Scottie Vines, a wide receiver that has been on the PUP list for quite some time, was waived.  That 6-week period of being on the PUP list has passed, and now a 3-week window comes about where a decision has to be made regarding the player.  For Vines, the decision was to get rid of him.  It's pretty interesting to see all of these players that could have been close to starting a few months ago, and aren't even on the team still.

Finally, regarding some practice squad news, Clint Stickdorn was released and Stephen Peterman was signed.  As the season progresses, I would imagine players being moved wouldn't happen as often, but with Detroit's luck involving injuries, that may have to continue to happen.
