Since it began in April, Pride of Detroit has been the newest member of the NFL section of SB Nation. That title is there no longer. The 9th NFL blog here on SB Nation is
Field Gulls, which covers the defending NFC champion Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are coming off of a great year that ended in Detroit with a close 21-10 loss to the Steelers in Super Bowl XL. With MVP Shaun Alexander back, the Seahawks have a great chance of repeating as NFC champs and making it back to the Super Bowl.
The Lions actually open up the season with Seattle. I'm sure there will be some talk of that game in the coming months to prepare for the season. It's always great to have both teams in games represented in the SB Nation network. With that being said, make sure to head over to Field Gulls and read up.
