New Era of Monday Night Football Begins Tonight

The new era of Monday Night Football on ESPN begins in just over an hour or so. I'm personally looking forward to the new MNF for two reasons. The first being the start time. Instead of the usual 9 p.m. (Eastern Time) start, I can watch the game an hour earlier, which is a huge difference when it comes to staying up to watch the games.

The second reason is the announcers. One of my favorite shows on TV is Pardon the Interruption, and PTI co-host Tony Kornheiser will be taking the booth as one of the MNF announcers. He will no doubt bring his sense of humor with him to liven-up the broadcast. Along side Kornheiser will be Mike Tirico and Joe Theisman, who are also great commentators. I can't wait!
