Training Camp Officially Over

The training camp-type of practices have officially come to a close.  Today is the first practice under the format that follows what it will be like during the regular season.  Press is limited to little to no coverage, so the exact details of things will be a lot less than usual.

With the preseason half way through and the third game coming up this Friday, players will be working very hard to fight for those last rosters spots.  The starters will see a lot of playing time during the game against Oakland in a few days, so those players on the bubble will have to use their time on the field very wisely in trying to impress the coaches.

More from the most recent Lions practices tomorrow.  Some visual changes to Pride of Detroit are being worked on to get done by the time preseason football ends, and much of that is taking place today, so check back tomorrow for regularly scheduled posting.
