Notes From Monday's Practice

The first official practice under the format of the regular season took place yesterday, ending training camp.  There were a few things worth mentioning that happened, so let's get right into it.

  • Guard Barry Strokes returned to practice for the first time in a while after being sidelined with a hamstring injury.

  • Tight End Dan Campbell was taken off of the PUP list and practiced for the first time all summer.  Campbell had been on the PUP list since the first day of training camp and will have a lot of catching up to do.

  • Cory Redding, the starting left end, pulled a muscle making a swim move, and will be checked out to make sure everything is all right.  Rod Marinelli doesn't think it's serious, but at this point there's no need to skip over the precautionary measures.
