Preseason Game #4 - Detroit Lions (1-2) vs Buffalo Bills (0-3) - Open Thread

The final preseason game of the season is here already, hard to believe isn't it? In this game you won't see many of the starters, and even if you do see a regular, it won't be for very long. All of the backups are going to get their chances at impressing the coaches and giving it their all to make the final roster. At 6:00 p.m. ET on Saturday, the roster will be trimmed drastically from 75 to 53 players. Some of those players fighting to make the roster are former first round draft picks Charles Rogers and Mike Williams. Both will receive substantial playing time to prove that they deserve to be here.

Another storyline to follow throughout this game is the return of Dick Jauron to Detroit. Last season, he was the interim head coach until Rod Marinelli was hired in the offseason. Returning to Detroit, I'm sure he'll be looking for a win.

Buffalo is coming into this game without a win in the preseason, so they will be looking to prevent going winless.
