Teddy Lehman Out At Least 6 Weeks

Linebacker Teddy Lehman has been on the PUP list since the very first day of training camp, and now will remain there for at least 6 more weeks. The Lions announced yesterday that Lehman was placed on the list again as he is trying to come back from foot surgery.

For the first 6 weeks of the season, Lehman will be sidelined. After those 6 weeks are up, the Lions then have 3 weeks to decide whether to activate Lehman or place him on the injured reserve. If the Lions activate him, then he'll be back on the roster and hopefully the starting lineup. But, if he's placed on the injured reserve, then his season is over with.

Paris Lenon has been starting in Lehman's spot at strong side linebacker. Lenon made a couple of good plays in last night's game, so we'll have to get used to him instead of Lehman.

The Lions also made a few other roster moves yesterday. First, Clifford Dukes, who was just signed a few days ago, was released. Also, defensive tackle Marcus Parker and cornerback Harrison Smith were resigned.
