NFL Roundtable #2 - Best Broadcasting Team

Over at Stampede Blue, the Colts blog here at SBN, the second installment of the NFL Roundtable has been posted.  Back in August, the first one was hosted here at Pride of Detroit, and everyone threw their opinion of the preseason into discussion.

Now, for our second topic, everyone talks about who their favorite broadcasting team is.  Now that NBC has started their coverage of the NFL this season, and also with the new Monday Night Football announcing crew, there's a very broad range of people to choose from.

Here's what I had to say:

If you look at who is better as of right now for announcing, then I'd give the advantage to NBC. They did a great job of putting together an all-around group of commentators. From Madden and Michaels in the booth to Collinsworth and Costas for the pregame and halftime show, I just enjoy the broadcast.

I wrote that a few weeks ago when the preseason was about halfway through, and after seeing their first regular season broadcast, I stand by my statement.  The "Manning versus Manning" storyline was a little overplayed, but nonetheless, I still liked it.

Make sure to head on over to Stampede Blue for all of the opinions.
