Game #2 - Detroit Lions (0-1-0) at Chicago Bears (1-0-0) - Open Thread

AT
Coming off of a disappointing loss to the defending NFC champion Seattle Seahawks, the Detroit Lions now travel to Chicago for an early divisional rivalry. The Bears routed the Packers a week ago, and will look to do the same in week 2 against Detroit.

For the Lions, a victory is going to be hard to come by, and would be considered an upset. If Detroit does come out on top, then it would be huge. The Lions really need something like this to get momentum as the season goes on. And a win over a rival from the NFC North doesn't hurt.

The Bears were considered the favorites to win the NFC North in most of the preseason picks, but Detroit will look to show that it isn't 100% to happen. It'll be a good one to watch today, and in the end, hopefully we'll be celebrating a Lions victory.

Chicago is represented here at SB Nation by Windy City Gridiron, a great blog covering the Bears. Make sure to head on over there sometime during today's game.
