Notes Prior to Week 4 of Play

The 4th week of the NFL season is here already?  Wow, that time sure flew right on by.  The Lions head to St. Louis tomorrow to battle with the Rams in what should definitely be a good one.  But, before kickoff tomorrow afternoon, here's the latest news and notes coming from the Lions camp.

  • Heading into this weekend of play, the Lions are ranked 6th in the NFC for passing offense.  Last season after three games, the Lions were ranked 12th in the NFC.  Also, when looking at the entire NFL, Detroit is 8th, whereas last season they were 26th after three games.

  • When Detroit does make the trip to St. Louis tomorrow afternoon, it'll mark the first time ever that the Lions have played in the Edward Jones Dome.  Offensive coordinator Mike Martz is no stranger as he was the Rams' coach for many years.  Coming back for the first time in different gear will undoubtedly be something new.

  • The game tomorrow featuring Detroit and St. Louis will be broadcast on WJBK-TV FOX Channel 2 live from Detroit.  Sam Rosen will handle the play-by-play alongside Tim Ryan, who will add color commentary.
