Lions vs Seahawks Isn't Going to Be Blacked Out

Earlier this week, reports coming from the Lions ticket office had suggested that the season-opener against Seattle this Sunday had a chance of being blacked out.  That would've been the first game ever at Ford Field to have been blacked out.  Luckily, enough tickets were sold to prevent that from happening.  Originally, there were about 500 or so tickets remaining to be sold in order to lift the blackout, and apparently that has been done.

200 tickets are still available, but they are from the Seahawks allotment, so they don't count when talking about an official sellout.  Ford Field should be packed as fans from around the state of Michigan are going to want to get their first look live at the new-look team.

For those of you not attending the game in-person, you can tune in by turning your televisions to your local Fox station at 1:00 p.m. ET.
