Gear up for the bazaar and absolutely outrageous. Lions defensive end Tyoka Jackson is being sued by male flight attendant Gary Rihn for allegedly shoving him across the aisle way back in February 2005.
In addition to the suit, the Federal Aviation Administration proposed a $20,500 fine for Jackson. The FAA said flight attendant Gary Rihn was shoved by Jackson after repeatedly asking the player to stow his carry-on bag. Rihn was shoved so hard that he landed feet in the air against another passenger, the FAA said.
The cause for the incident supposedly is because the flight attendant was "poking" at Jackson, who in turn "poked" him back after getting annoyed. But that's not the best part. Take a look at what Gary Rihn wants out of the lawsuit.
Oh come on. This has got to be the lamest thing I've ever read in my life. How can a person being shoved across an aisle cause $6,300 in medical expenses. And if that is the case, then why should Jackson have to pay a total of over $1 million because of it. That's just ludacris. And I love the last sentence saying how he "suffers from post-traumatic stress syndrome." You supposedly got shoved after poking at someone.
First off, you shouldn't be poking at anyone who is 6-2, 280 pounds. On top of that, get over it. I'm not saying that what Jackson did was right, because it obviously wasn't. But to me it sounds like this guy is trying to make some money off of a little push that probably was over-exaggerated in the first place. I just can't stand people like this. I imagine Jackson will have to pay something to this guy, but I just hope it isn't even close to what is being asked for.
