Lions Notes: Catchin' Up

I've been very busy lately, so sorry for the lack of posting.  With that being said, let's get caught up on what has been going on with the Lions this week.

  • Devin Hester was so explosive last Sunday that he caused Jason Hanson to fracture his left wrist.  Hanson did that when Hester took a kick return in the 4th quarter back for a TD. Take a look for yourself.
Hanson's reason for the injury is priceless: "Missing Hester."
  • Buster Davis has the right mindset for making it in the NFL. (HT: Highlight Reel)
  • Brian Calhoun is headed to the injured reserve as he is still not 100% after last season's knee injury. To replace him on the roster, Detroit signed running back Aveion Cason. Also, Brandon Middleton was released and Tony Beckham was signed again.
  • Stephen Peterman is going to start again in place of Damien Woody. Peterman stepped in as Woody was injured, but even with Woody back, he still is going to start.
  • T.J. Duckett may play this Sunday.
