Tickets Still Available for Sunday; Thanksgiving Halftime Show Set

Although the Detroit Lions reached a sellout for Sunday's game against the Giants, tickets are still available as New York returned nearly 300.  Another note to add for the Giants game is the start time.  Remember, this game kicks off at 1:00 p.m. ET, not 4:15 like originally scheduled.  FOX moved up the start time in order to switch the Dallas-Washington game to the later time slot, which is usually reserved for the bigger games on a national level.  That wasn't the only reason, as Dallas and Washington cover to time zones, so FOX likes to have those types of games in the late afternoon slot.

On the subject of Thanksgiving, which surprisingly is only a week away (Where did the last few months go?), the halftime show for the Lions-Packers game has been set.

The Goo Goo Dolls will perform during the Thanksgiving Day halftime show as part of the Lions vs. Green Bay Packers game at Ford Field Nov. 22 at 12:30 p.m. on Fox.

The Goo Goo Dolls will perform "Better Days" and "Stay With You" from their recently released new album The Goo Goo Dolls Greatest Hits, Vol. 1 - The Singles, from Warner Bros. Records.

Last year's halftime performer was John Fogerty, who actually got on a plane to play the halftime show of the night game (on the NFL Network) on Thanksgiving as well.
