Apologies again for such limited posting this week, but things will hopefully be back to normal next week.
Kevin Curtis, the sought after free agent receiver, has decided to sign with the Eagles. I still don't know how this deal fell through with Detroit. It appeared Curtis would be a lock and I never even thought that he would go elsewhere. Things changed after he fired his agent and that is probably why he is now in Philadelphia. I think he wanted more money than Detroit was willing to pay him. More on this next week as far as how it affects Detroit come next season.
Brady Quinn is going to visit the Lions. I think this is more for strategy than legitimate interest. If there was anyone that you would take at #2, I don't think it should be Brady Quinn. This interview could be a perfect way to convince the Browns to possibly trade up a spot if they want to draft him. Who knows at this point, but I wouldn't read into it too much right now.
