After months of waiting, draft week 2007 is finally here. The 2007 NFL Draft begins at 12:00 p.m. ET this Saturday and will prove to be exciting. The Lions have long been the source of many questions regarding what exactly will be done with the #2 overall pick, and you can bet I've probably talked about it already here at Pride of Detroit.
As the countdown to the 2007 NFL Draft lessens each day this week, I will run down and discuss the many scenarios out there for what exactly will happen with the Lions' #2 pick. The rumors will be flowing and so will my expertise regarding the whole situation, so keep it tuned to Pride of Detroit for all of the latest.
I haven't exactly decided what I will do as far as coverage on Saturday and Sunday, but I plan to go all out. The 1-year anniversary of POD is actually coming up on Friday, and with this draft being so important for Detroit, I figure I might as well celebrate in the best fashion possible: covering the draft for all of you out there. My initial plan is to live-blog the draft and provide commentary regarding everything going on, but we'll see.
Either way, make sure to visit POD on Saturday for everything related to the draft. Until we get there, I just want to give a big thanks to everyone out there for the last year and can't wait to do it again for the next year. Thanks again for reading and Go Lions.
